What is a waste station, you say?
Glad you asked! A waste station is a consolidated place where all waste streams can be accessed in one place. You can “create” a waste station simply by putting a trash can and a recycling bin next to each other, or a waste station can be a bigger investment that involves custom purchasing or design.
Hot tips on where to place your signs
Signage is most effective when it is placed on the wall above a waste station, so that the viewer can easily look at all the signs for all the waste streams and make a decision about where to put their item.
